These trainers look great but after I’d bought them I saw reviews online that talked about a sharp edge over the Achilles tendon. It’s a design flaw and you must address it. I wore mine for the first time yesterday - with socks, but it was still a problem even after only a few steps. I’d ask for a refund but I’ve worn them already. I’m looking at wasted money.

This is my first pair of Giesswein trainers, I wanted a good quality waterproof pair for longer walks, I opted for the Wool Trail X Women’s style. I am really impressed, they have been really comfortable, feel supportive and excellent quality. I walked 4 miles / 6Km straight off with not a single issue (most unusual for a brand new pair of shoes). Highly recommend and will no doubt purchase as my standard “go to” brand from here on.

I bought a pair of the Merino Wool knit in grey after looking to pivot from another wool based sneaker brand as their quality has taken a nose dive. Purchase of my shoes and delivery was very fast and easy which was great. I like the design and neutral colour I do think they run slightly large fit wise. They have taken a while to wear in, which I didn't expect, but now a month later I feel they're fine. I love the fact that Giesswein still make the foot beds, unlime the afore mentioned wool based snmeaker brand, so well done for that. Thank you.
