Our slippers are cut according to the usual shoe sizes. Please order slippers according to your normal shoe size. If you already own a matching Giesswein slipper, please order according to this size. Please note that boiled wool slippers will expand slightly over time.
How do I measure correctly?
Take a piece of paper and a pen. Step on the sheet of paper with your foot and mark the heel and tip of your toe with your pen. Do the same with the second foot. Feet are rarely exactly the same length. If you already know the longer foot, it is sufficient to measure its length. Determine length in cm. Please use the ruler to determine the length in cm. The tables below translate the sole length into all common sizes.

Thanks to the exceptionally smooth surface structure of merino wool, bacteria can neither settle nor multiply. Merino wool also consists of two different cell types that constantly rub against each other, producing a self-cleaning effect.
TEMPERATURE REGULATION
The unique fiber structure of merino wool encloses countless small air chambers, which is further enhanced by the lamination process. These chambers have a natural insulating effect and guarantee a perfect climate of well-being, regardless of the temperature.
DRY FEET
Merino wool has effective moisture-regulating properties and can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in moisture. The moisture is transported into the core of the fiber and then wicked away from the shoe, leaving the surface of the fiber dry at all times.
