The quality of the slipper is first class . They are warm and comfortable. They are not very supportive and as I’m a narrow foot they do slop a bit even tho the length is correct . I’d love an inner sole to make it less wide .

Delivery was quick which pleasantly surprised me and in the couple of weeks I have been wearing them they have proved to be my best slippers ever. One minor niggle; the toggle for tightening the elastic round the hole for the foot can get trapped underneath when you put them on. You soon realise though!

I’ve never paid so much money for hard-soled slippers, but have heard wonderful things about Giesswein and I am really sold on the fact that they’re not made in China and have no synthetic materials. Sadly they REALLY hurt! I wore them around for several hours in the house and there’s a massive gap between the top of my feet and the lip of the shoe. So every step would bang the top of my foot. Had to remove them and now they’re just sitting in a box. I’m a pensioner so it’s hard to waste that much money 😕
